The Erie Lackawanna Dining Car Preservation Society is interested in developing a 'Living History' educational program centered on the contribution of the Pullman Porters to American economic, labor and social history, as well as their central role in the Civil Rights movement. Volunteers will work with Society members to develop and implement an interpretative program about the Pullman Porter's forgotten impact on American history.
