About New Level Sports Ministries Summer Program

NLSM is a non-profit youth support service committed to developing purpose-driven individuals that will be highly effective in all aspects of life. The mission of New Level Sports Ministries is to maximize and balance the intellectual, spiritual, mental and physical elements of all participating youth. NLSM focus is to develop a complete student-athlete that is spiritually and personally grounded, capable of excelling in the classroom, free of barriers, and has a healthy, positive outlook for the future. NLSM accomplishes these goals through the five foundational pillars: Academic Enrichment, Personal Growth, Sports Business and Entrepreneurship, Physical Development and Fitness Training and Arts.

New Level Sports Ministries has partnered with the Epicenter of Worship in Old Town Lansing. Epicenter of Worship was established in 2004 as Vision Christian Campus Ministry and has evolved into the Epicenter of Worship Church where the vision is clear, cut and concise as a place where God is worshiped, disciples are made and the world is changed. Our mission to do this is by speaking of the gospel of Jesus Christ, teach certain principles pertaining to the kingdom, and preparation to reach the lost.

In this effort to equip our community we strive our goal of this project is to strengthen academic readiness, personal growth and life skill development, provide positive mentors to assist youth and families and to provide nutritional lunches for impoverished youth in the greater Lansing community. New Level Sports Ministries (NLSM) has been in existence since 2001 and has worked tirelessly to provide quality services for our Urban youth and their families.

Application Process

-Resume (Showing experience working with youth)
-Background Check (Go to the Department of Human Services (Free) or Local Police Department ($10))
-For Teachers ONLY: Letter of Recommendation and References
