End 68 Hours of Hunger started by Claire Bloom in Dover, NH, in 2010 to help the local school children that went hungry over the weekend.
We buy and package food and deliver it to the local schools on each Friday morning so the school personnel can send it home with the children that need it.
The fund raising to accomplish this is the most difficult part.
Smaller towns like Milford help up to 43 students a week while the Nashua program help many, many, more. Each town can start their on chapter of End 68 hours of Hunger. Currently there are more than 30 NH towns involved.
This is all volunteer with all the money raised going to purchase food. No reimbursement, no one is paid.
We are a 501(c) 3.
