About Helping hands needed to help at end of Gala

Looking for something upscale to do Saturday night? You can dress up AND help a good cause! Encompass is in need of extra hands to help at the end of our Autumn Gala on Saturday night. These volunteers will help with assisting volunteers picking up the items they purchased during the auction, and with helping them out to their car or room. This crew will also assist with the final clean-up of the ballroom and auction rooms.

The gala is a formal event. Volunteers are asked to either dress in formal attire as they would like, or wear black pants and a black shirt. Volunteers will be on their feet, moving and carrying things the whole time, so plan your footwear and dress accordingly. Due to liability, volunteers are prohibited from consuming any alcohol immediately before or during their volunteer time, but are encouraged to enjoy downtown Bellevue when they are finished!

Encompass is an early learning center and pediatric therapy clinic based in North Bend and serving the Snoqualmie Valley, Issaquah, and Riverview school districts. Our mission is to partner with families to build healthy foundations for children, and we have a vision for a community where ALL children thrive. This year’s gala is in celebration of our 50th anniversary, and is our biggest one yet. Generous donations of time and energy from our volunteers allow us to host a wonderful event and put the maximum amount of proceeds directly back into our mission.

Please contact Erin Davies at [email protected] or 425-888-2777 x1212 by November 3rd to sign-up.
