About Tour Guide Training

Are you interested in history? Do you enjoy giving back to your community? Become an Ellwood House tour guide! Volunteer tour guides lead one-hour tours of the historic Ellwood mansion for visitors from around the world. No prior museum or public speaking experience is required. An informational session will be held on Tuesday, May 7 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the Visitor Center. Subsequent training sessions will be held on the following dates:

Thursday, May 9: 5:00pm to 7:00pm
Tuesday, May 14: 5:00pm to 7:00pm
Wednesday, May 29: 6:00pm to 7:00pm
Thursday, June 6: 6:00pm to 7:00pm
