About Ele's Place Support Group Facilitator

Assist with facilitation of a children or teen bereavement support group. All groups meet weekly at Ele's Place from September through May in the evening. Work in a team of 3-4 facilitators to plan and implement the activities for your group of 10-12 grieving children (ages 3 to 18 years old).

Application Process

SUPPORT GROUP FACILITATORS – 23 hours of training and a 9 to 12 month commitment required. Volunteers who are interested in becoming a Facilitator with the children’s bereavement support groups must complete our 23-hour training program to learn more about Ele’s Place, children’s grief issues, and the role of the facilitator. This training is generally offered only twice each year - once in the fall and once in the spring. We are holding our Spring 2020 Training in April 2020.
