Join Us in the Garden!

We have compiled volunteer opportunities for the 2018 garden season, below is a breakdown of the reoccurring events:

Achievement Days - 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month (5 - 8pm)
Service days to make progress on various projects throughout the season and perform tasks such as planting, pruning, watering, and weeding.

Distribution Harvests - Every Thursday beginning in July (10am - 2pm)
Harvest, wash, and package shared plot produce to prepare for distribution throughout the community. As always, watering and weeding.

Watering/Weeding - Monday - Friday during the garden season (9am - 6pm)
Weather dependent, we will need individuals to sign up to water and weed the donation plots, village veggies, children’s garden, and hoop house throughout the week from June - October.

Educational Opportunities - Second Wednesdays of each month (6 - 8pm)
Do you have knowledge or a talent to share such as how to grow container gardens, produce preservation, or other garden knowledge or skills? Please contact the Edgewood Village Garden team about opportunities to support our garden education programs at Edgewood Village.

Please click on the available opportunity for the day you wish to join us in the garden to be redirected to a sign up sheet.

The Garden Program Calendar will be updated periodically to reflect any program changes or additional events.
If none of the above time frames work for you, then we will be happy to work with you to accommodate any level of interest.
