o you like fossils as much as our Executive Director does? Then bring your pick axe and awl..EPCAMR is always looking for volunteers who are interested in working with us to find fine examples of various fossil types to put on display at the EPCAMR Office and to use in our "Box of Rocks" Fossil Education Program with elementary students. EPCAMR has a curriculum developed by our former Environmental Education Intern, Pam Kattner, who had her Masters in Education, geared towards the second grade level. We need more fossils! Trees, Plants, Animals, Trilobites. Whatever you can find!
EPCAMR has books in the Office that can be loaned out as reference books, if you are interested. We ask that while you are picking, you pick a few for us.
Parents and children are invited and encouraged to get involved.
