About Us

The Eastern Idaho Environmental Education Association, EIEEA, is a non-profit organization formed specifically to support and promote environmental education opportunities in Eastern Idaho. We support the following events/activities:
1. Idaho Falls Earth Day, an annual community event held on the 4th Saturday in April
2. Water Festival and Water Awareness Week, an outreach event for 5th and 6th graders held on the second Wednesday and Thursday in May
3. Weekly "Ask a Scientist" column in the Idaho Falls Post Register and monthly "Meet a Scientist" Saturday events at the Museum of Idaho.

Through all of these projects we hope to help create opportunities to learn.
