About Dress for Success Lexington's quarterly sales!

Dress for Success Lexington conducts an inventory sale four times a year, and our third sale of the year will be taking place August 18th!

There are plenty of opportunities to assist with sales prep in the months leading up to the sale, or volunteering for the sale itself, starting with our regular donation days on Thursdays from 1-4.

In order to make each sale successful, we need volunteers in the following areas:

Space organization/sales prep:  includes unpacking, sorting and organizing inventory for the sale, and hanging and sizing items. These volunteers are needed on an ongoing basis prior to each sale.  This also includes hanging signage, actual sale set-up and last-minute organization of sale inventory the week of the sale. 

Sale volunteers: includes serving as personal shoppers and managing the sale inventory during the sale (re-organization and re-stocking), etc.  These volunteers are needed starting at 9 am on the Thursday and Friday prior to each public sale date for our private client sales, and 8 am for the public day on that Saturday.  You can volunteer for part or all of the day each day of the sale.
