About Dress for Success Boston- Volunteer

Dress for Success Boston is a volunteer-driven organization. Our volunteers help us manage all work-related aspects on a regular basis.

Volunteers help us by:
--accepting, sorting and storing clothing donations
--personal shopping with clients
--soliciting funds and clothing from corporations
--providing office support: maintain databases, call agencies to follow up on clients
--fundraising support: grant writing, appeal letter writing and mailing
--representing Dress for Success Boston at special events

All volunteers must complete a questionnaire and interview so we can best match volunteers' interests and talents with Dress for Success Boston's needs. All volunteers go through an orientation process that includes an overview of the organization and training, when appropriate.
