About Computer Literacy for Women

Volunteers for the Computer Literacy for Women program focus on on assisting the program's instructor in teaching basic computer skills to immigrant women. The volunteer will provide additional support to those students needing it.

You do NOT need to speak Spanish. However, working knowledge of computers, Google Drive and Internet are required. Training of the course will be provided.

This program has proven to be invaluable to the women of our community. Per their own testimonials, students shared that "this program is a game changer" for them. It is empowering. They expressed their confidence in being able to keep their children safe of the Internet, apply for jobs, access resources (e.g., transportation, information, healthcare, etc.) and to participate fully in the community.

Application Process

Contact us or email us to begin the process. Doors to Hope requires an application and background check (paid by DTH) before volunteer training begins.
