DOMINIFARM IS 100% VOLUNTEER RUN. OUR VOLUNTEERS HELP US OPERATE THE SANCTUARY, PROVIDE CARE FOR THE RESIDENTS, AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE SUCCESS OF OUR EDUCATION AND TRAINING PROGRAM.

All positions have a minimum age requirement of 18 unless otherwise noted in the position listing.

- FARM CHORES VOLUNTEER DAYS are every 1st Sunday of the month. They usually include activities such as barn cleaning and ground and maintenance projects. Farm work is not glamorous and generally physically demanding and repetitious. However, every task assists us with carrying out our daily mission of protecting and caring for special needs animals in need. Projects are determined monthly, according to our greatest and most timely needs.

- ANIMAL CARETAKER - This ongoing opportunity REQUIRES A 90 MIN WEEKLY COMMITMENT for a minimum of 6 months.
We RELY on our team of Animal caretakers to feed, water, groom, bathe, exercise, socialize or otherwise provide care to promote and maintain the well-being of our rescued animals. The animals need care 7 days a week 365 days a year.
Our time is precious and training an animal caretaker takes a lot of time and energy. Please make sure you that you have the availability and motivation to commit for this essential position.

We offer a variety of other volunteer positions including remote office tasks, community outreach, grant writing, fundraising, tour guiding, educational program, event assistance.
Individuals with an interest in volunteering professional skills (carpentry, landscaping, painting, accounting, veterinary, etc) are also encouraged to apply.

WE ALWAYS NEED TRANSPORT HELP!

Our transport volunteers help:

- with getting loads of hay, straw, grain, material, large supplies, sheds, coops or other animal shelters,
- transporting animals to vet appointments, help with picking up donated items,
- picking up fresh produces from Albertsons weekly,
- For emergency transport.

CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE 16 CANNOT VOLUNTEER AT THE SANCTUARY. CHILDREN 16-18 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES.
