Founders Week & United Way Fall Day of Caring
Hosted by: Dominican College
About Founders Week & United Way Fall Day of Caring
Join the DC community as we celebrate the work and values of our Dominican founders. Mother Mary Ann Sammon was the foundress of the Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt. She came to Blauveltville in 1878 to establish an orphanage for the growing numbers of orphans in New York City. We honor her in our service of others!
This year we will be partnering with the United Way for a waterway cleanup in Nanuet, NY. Preaching in Action is the concluding event of Founder's Week.
