About Ambassador

Do you have a desire to help people and dogs?

Do you value Dogs for the Deaf's mission and vision?

Are you comfortable with public speaking?

Are you people and animal friendly?

Then you can be one of our nationwide volunteer Ambassadors and serve as a representative for Dogs for the Deaf by raising public awareness of our mission and programs!

As a Dogs for the Deaf Ambassador, you will:

- Be a positive and professional representative and share information about Dogs for the Deaf whenever possible;

- Identify individuals, businesses, clubs and groups in your area who might be interested in learning more about Dogs for the Deaf and share this information with our Event Coordinator;

- Speak to groups in your local area, play the Dogs for the Deaf promotional video and present information about our special work, and encourage people to become part of the Dogs for the Deaf family;

- Distribute brochures, newsletters and other promotional material both at group presentations and to businesses and offices in your area, and encourage people to sign up to receive our magazine;

- Distribute applications for Assistance Dogs to people who might be interested and benefit from one of our professionally trained dogs;

- Direct interested donors to the Dogs for the Deaf website and/or distribute donation envelopes
