About Help Trumansburg Middle Schoolers Release Trout in the Wild

Would you like to get outside with 80 kids? We will be helping 6th graders from Trumansburg Middle School release trout they raised in the classroom this year along upper Taughannock Creek. The students will first conduct macro-invertebrate samples to determine the health of the stream, and we need volunteers who are willing to work with groups of 8-10 students as they go through this process. A carpool option will be available - likely departing from an Ithaca location about 11am, returning 3pm.
