About Emotional Support for Terminally Ill

I am searching for volunteers to help out with our hospice patients and their families. Volunteers would provide emotional support and practical assistance to patients and their families. Activities would include:
Reading books to them
Talking with them and provide emotional support
Cooking meals for them
Just "being there"
Helping out with community events

Application Process

The volunteers are required to fill out some paperwork and have a background check and drug test, but we can do all of that here in the office. Must be 18 or older to go into patients homes. 14-18 can work in the office and help with community events.
