About Daystar Barnes & Noble Book Fair

Join us for some winter fun at the Daystar Barnes & Noble Bookfair! This event is an opportunity for Daystar to raise money though in-store and online book sales. A percentage of all sales generated on 12/17/2016 at the Pittsford Plaza Barnes & Noble will benefit Daystar's incredible children.

Volunteer support is needed at the Daystar Welcome Table, the Daystar Craft Table, and the gift wrapping station (Daystar receives 100% of the donations from the gift wrapping station!).

Daystar will need volunteers from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Please see below for needed time slots and jobs.

Daystar Welcome Table 11 am - 1 pm

Distribute Daystar information (fact sheets, brochures, bookfair tickets) to shoppers who approach the welcome table. Educate shoppers on Daystar's mission.

Gift Wrapping Station 11 am - 1 pm

This task is filled or completed
Barnes & Noble supplies all gift wrapping supplies, Daystar provides the volunteers. Daystar receives 100% of the donations from the gift wrapping station. Must feel comfortable/be skilled at gift wrapping.
