About 2014 Day of Service: Helping Hands and Linking Arms

Projects include:
Clearing walking/nature trail of overgrowth and debris.
Riverbank reconstruction along nature trail.
Weed eating and cleanup around one of the lakes.
Clearing weeds and overgrowth around the Boy Scout Camping Area.
Refurbishing children's playground and applying ground cover in the area.
Picnic table cleaning and refurbishing.

Equipment needed:
Gloves, shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, hedge trimmers, weed eaters, paint brushes, paint scrapers and any other equipment you may have that will be useful in the above tasks.

Don't forget to bring sunscreen, and insect repellant. Dress appropriately for outdoor wooded areas and physical labor.

Parents and children are invited and encouraged to get involved.
