About Volunteer as a Homework Helper!

Sign up to assist afterschool staff and help with tutoring and activities on a weekly basis. We will place you at one of our partner sites starting in early 2020.

Provide students with support by volunteering to assist with homework and activities at an afterschool site this fall. Volunteers will help enrich learning and help students develop skills. Homework Helpers will come to Dallas Afterschool for a brief 30 minute on-boarding and to receive tutoring tools. Each volunteer will be placed at an afterschool site to serve each week as a tutor. Background check is required. Volunteers are asked to commit as a homework helper for 6 weeks.

Shifts: Weekdays
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
