About Enthusiastic General Volunteer

As a growing cultural and social enterprise, there are many things that one can help out with at Cultura Quilombo. Examples are helping out with events and nights in the bar, working behind the bar, creating documentation (such as project proposals and website content) in different languages, general translation work, website management, project and class promotion, support in the social projects, new volunteer recruitment and management, managing the volunteer accommodation, supporting visiting artists, connecting with foreign clients, fundraising, managing budgets and much more. 

A General Volunteer will have the opportunity to work in many different company areas, whilst gaining an inside view of the governance of a cultural and social enterprise.

For General Volunteers, speaking Spanish is not a prerequisite but definitely an advantage. Speaking any other foreign language (such as Portuguese, German or French) would also be an advantage. 

We can also arrange for any classes that the volunteers want to take during their stay here (such as Spanish or salsa dancing) as well as help organise any weekend trips they want to take.
