About Arty Teachers needed!

As a cultural centre, we appreciate how important different artistic activities are for individuals. Besides organising artistic and cultural events that people can enjoy visiting, we want to get more adults and children involved in making their own art forms themselves.

That´s why we are looking for volunteers who have any artistic skill that they would like to pass on the local people of Managua! We have a dream to be able to offer free art classes all year round, with different things to choose from per month. Again, any sort of skills or interests are more than welcome- anything you think can make for a fun class to participate in!

We offer teachers freedom in which target groups they want to offer the classes to (children, adults) and how they wish to teach, although will provide support if needed! Ideally, teachers will speak (at least) basic Spanish, but we can arrange for further classes here if needed. We can also arrange for any other classes that the volunteers want to take during their stay here (such as capoeira or salsa dancing) as well as help organise any weekend trips they want to take.

Application Process

Please send an email to [email protected] with your CV, including previous experience and creative interests. We can then arrange for a Skype call, so that we can both get to know one another and for you to ask anz questions about the organisation that you might have. Please do not hesitate to phone +50585971596 or +50522222375 for more information.
