About Amazing volunteer work in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania with CCS

As a volunteer in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania with Cross-Cultural Solutions, you will be working in Kilimanjaro. Locals in the community struggle with a lack of resources, effects from the remnants of colonialism, and the ongoing impact of HIV/AIDS. When you volunteer in Tanzania, you will be helping those communities that are in desperate need of help. You will experiencing local culture while living and working near some of the most stunning landscapes of the country.

While volunteering in Tanzania will have working options in caregiving, teaching, and community development. Depending on your work choice, you will be involved in one of the following: orphanages, daycare centers, homeless shelters, schools, community centers, clinics, and women empowerment's centers.

We need volunteers to help with:

HIV/AIDS Volunteer in Tanzania

You will work with women, children, or the community at large. All of our local partners opened their doors in order to support those affected by HIV/AIDS, and also to act as an educational resource to combat transmission, raise awareness, and fight stigmas.

Volunteer assisting the growth and development of children

Support organizations who work to provide shelter, meals, and education to local disadvantaged youth in order to better prepare them for future success. When you work to support an organization providing day time care to local youth, you’re also supporting parents as they pursue work so that they can offer their children a better, brighter future.

Volunteer to improve education for children

You have an opportunity to help teach and support orphans and otherwise vulnerable children. Your presence and enthusiasm as a volunteer in the classroom will help to improve attendance and participation by making learning fun and engaging.

Volunteer to improve the quality of care of people with disabilities

You will help to provide mothers with a safe and nurturing space for their children with disabilities to spend their days. One of our partner organizations in Tanzania was actually started by a local teacher who experienced the stresses of having a child with disabilities firsthand, and saw the benefit of a supportive community of educators and nurturers.
