About Screening Center Volunteer Opportunities - 11/19 (Sunday)
Box of Joy is a Christmas program that allows poor children in developing countries to experience the joy of Christmas. The gift alone is not the only blessing…. but also the message of hope and love that a family or individual in the United States cares for them.
During the month of November, all of the Boxes of Joy that have been packed around the nation are sent to The National Screening Center in South Florida. At the Screening Center - volunteers screen the boxes to make sure all gifts are safe and appropriate for kids, prepare them for shipping to the destination country and have lots of fun. This is our MAIN volunteer event, where hundreds of Team Joy members impact the lives of the thousands of poor children who will receive the gifts.
Family-Friendly
Parents and children are invited and encouraged to get involved.
