Make a joyful noise unto the Lord. Corpus Christi- Epiphany Roman Catholic Church has been praising the serving the Lord as a faith community for many years.   We are grateful to the Society of St. Joseph of the Sacred Heart as the celebrate their 125th of serving in the African American Community and are joyous that 102 were spent at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church.  This campaign this year is to help update an old sound system in the church that has served its time for many Sunday and daily masses, weddings and funerals, anniversaries, baptisms and confirmations.  We hope to raised at least $20,000.00 to purchase a new sound system that would greatly enhance our choir and musicians, and cantors voices.  We are also looking to replace our Hammond organ that has served its time with a brand new $25,000.00 Hammond organ so we can continue singing and praising the Lord in Church.  This past years the Church has cleaned and watered proofed and painted the Drexel Center, the rectory and the church building.  We have updated the signage on the property so this year we needed to update the worship experience at our parish. 

Our Mission statement encourages us to carry out the mission of Jesus Christ in the African American community in the Seventh Ward of the city of New Orleans by preaching and proclaiming the Good News. We are called to be sent by Christ, to live gratefully the life God has given us.  Being able to sing and proclaim the word to all God's people is crucial to witnessing the Lord. Our parishioners have been helpful but we need other resources to Help us to encourage others to live the life of Christ.
