About Judy's Day 2014
The Cornell Plantations: Arboretum, Botanical Garden, and Natural Areas of Cornell University is holding a fun fall festival called Judy’s Day on Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 1 to 5 p.m. Judy's Day is a one-day festival to celebrate our vital connection with plants. This year’s theme is “A FRUIT-ful Afternoon! Go bananas exploring the fun and fascinating world of fruits!"
Judy’s Day’s audience is families with young children and volunteers would be working with the children to help teach about fruits. We have about 50-60 different hands on activities all about fruits happening simultaneously for the four hours of the event, and need all the helping hands we can get. Most duties will include assisting with a hands-on activity or a fun presentation about fruits.
First Shift: 12:30pm - 3:00pm (Includes a short training)
Second Shift: 2:45pm - 5:15pm (Includes a short clean-up)
