About Disaster Response
Following major domestic disasters, Convoy of Hope coordinates local church relationships in the execution of damage assessment, delivery of supplies, debris removal, and emotional spiritual care in impacted towns. In addition, during non-response times, churches are encouraged in being proactive in their local communities, especially in the areas of disaster training and preparedness.
We need volunteers to help with:
Disaster Response Individual
January 19, 2012 7:00pm
A Disaster Response Individual is a person that is interested in becoming more involved in any or all aspects of disaster response, such as mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. Areas of service may include the following: debris removal, bulk distribution, volunteer support, and church/ family preparedness.
It is our desire to connect with churches and/or groups through an individual point of contact (POC), who can represent the church/group as a whole. If you are an individual interested in disaster response, we strongly encourage you to connect with others so as to build your own team. If you are able to connect with other individuals, please register as a Disaster Response Team.
