About Changing lives through literacy

Community Learning Center’s mission is to help adults develop literacy, math, and life skills using a supportive and holistic approach, so that they can realize their fullest potential at home, in the workplace, and in the community.
Founded in 1987, we provide FREE adult basic education, general educational development (GED), English language, and citizenship classes.
We need volunteers to help with:

Volunteers at CLC work as teacher assistants and one-on-one tutors during classes. Volunteers should be comfortable with tutoring, willing to be classroompatient with the learners, and an encouraging presence.
