About Volunteer Opportunities

The Community Dining Room in Branford, open 365 days a year running multiple meal programs, is always looking for high energy volunteers to assist. Come join the fun and be part of something bigger than yourself and give back.

Helping with meal preparation (cooks, kitchen helpers, dish washers) and help to deliver meals to home bound individuals (drivers). Don't want to help in the kitchen? We have multiple other opportunities to help with community programs and fundraisers as well. And we are always in need of drivers to help pick-up local donations at area stores. Plenty of opportunity to give your time.

Monthly training sessions held the second Monday of each month at the Community Dining Room from 5 to 6 pm. Email volunteercoordinator@communitydiningroom.org to register or call 203.488.9750 ext. 1.

Application Process

Interested volunteers need to fill out a volunteer application and attend a one hour training session. These sessions are the second Monday evening of each month.
