About Do you have the gift of gab, enjoy reading, watching old movies, playing cards or board games?

Think of hearing history from someone who has lived it! Many of our elderly recipients have lived through and been exposed to many experiences in their lives. Sharing these memories or other enjoyable activities is often the highlight of their day or sometimes even their week. Volunteers can offer a couple of hours a week reading, helping write letters, or playing cards or board games. A volunteer's visit not only brightens the life of an elderly person, it could become a valuable experience for the visitor.
