About Lansing Leaders and Literacy Day

Come join us for the 3rd annual Lansing Leaders and Literacy Day!

Volunteers will be reading one-on-one with elementary students at Willow Elementary School. Each student will walk away with their own hardcover copy of “We’re All Wonders” by R. J. Palacio. You can help students make the connection between literacy and the pathway to leadership.

Please sign up today! The event will include a brief training, snacks and refreshments. Let the students at Willow see how the Lansing community supports them as they work to achieve their promise.

Participation in this event is free, but volunteers have the option to donate the cost of the book for their student. Contact Shalyn Stack at scwillow@cismichigan for details. Participation at any level is appreciated.
