Lansing Leaders and Literacy Day
Hosted by: Communities In Schools of Michigan
About Lansing Leaders and Literacy Day
Come join us for the 2nd annual Lansing Leaders and Literacy Day on March 24th from 1:00-3:00!
Volunteers will be reading one-on-one with preschool to third grade students at Willow Elementary School. We will be reading Amazing Grace by Mary Hoffman and each student will walk away with their own hardcover book. You can help students make the connection between literacy and the pathway to leadership.
Please sign up today! The event will include a brief training, snacks and refreshments. Let the students at Willow see how the Lansing community supports them as they work to achieve their promise.
Communities In Schools is providing transportation to and from the event for Michigan State Students.
