About 30th Anniversary Block Party

Communities In Schools of Chicago is a drop-out prevention organization that works.

We are celebrating 30 years of working with Chicago youth by having a Block Party to congratulate the students with whom we work, engage the community in which we work, and party with all the partners and school staff who support us in all that we do!

Application Process

There will be plenty of opportunities in which to volunteer:

1. Kids Craft Zone - work with kids on arts & crafts projects and keep the area organized and supplied

2. Water Station - pass out water and ensure that there is always an ample supply available

3. Information distribution - distribute CIS of Chicago pamphlets or other promotional material

4. Nurse - must provide proof of nursing certification and undergo the volunteer application including
fingerprinting

5. Clean-up

- 2PM - 4PM
- 4PM - 6PM
