About Cheshire's Pollinator Pathway
The Pollinator Pathway is a grassroots mission created in response to the decimation of butterflies and other pollinator populations due to use of pesticides, lack of nutritional native plants, light pollution, leaf blowers and land fragmentation. And as go caterpillars and insects, so go birds, too! Pollinators are vital to food production: thank a pollinator for one out of every three bites of food you eat.
Our Pollinator Pathway is in its second year. We plan a major planting in Spring 2021. You are welcome to join us. Let us know if you are interested in helping in any way: planting, weeding, watering or in any of our task groups (education, marketing, fundraising, etc.).
