About Operation Soap Blitz: Hygiene Kits at Home. Battling Ebola Abroad

Operation Soap Blitz: Hygiene Kits At Home. Battling Ebola Abroad.

Volunteer to Help Save Lives! The world is currently facing a growing Ebola epidemic as well as widespread homelessness right here at home. Clean the world is responding with Operation Soap Blitz! With Operation Soap Blitz, we aim to reduce the spread of viral disease locally by providing 100,000 ONE project hygiene kits to the homeless and other people in need throughout Central Florida. For every 1,000 ONE Project hygiene kits built here at home, Clean the world will also ship 4,000 soap bars to West Africa to help stop the spread of Ebola. Preparing the supplies for 100,000 hygiene kits requires hundreds of volunteer hours so we need your help! We will host a minimum of 50 volunteers a day during Operation Soap Blitz and your group is welcome to join us Monday thru Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 or 1:30 to 3:30, as well as Saturday mornings. Corporate groups, families, and organizations work in two-hour shifts to sort soap and plastic bottles, wash bottles, and box products. We provide gloves, music, and the opportunity to give the gift of good health to your neighbors locally and around the globe. Volunteers must be at least 8 years old. Children ages 8 through 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
