About Tree Protection Opportunity

Volunteers are needed to protect trees from beaver overpopulation and invasive species takeover! You will learn how to use wire cutters to place caging around tree trunks to deter beaver herbivory, as well as learn how to use hand shears to remove English ivy from trees. No experience is necessary, just a desire to work in a scenic outdoor environment and make a positive impact on the community.
