The 18th Annual Summer Solstice Jazz Festival (SSJF) is taking place on Friday, June 20th and Saturday, June 21st. This extraordinary FREE event features a high-caliber bevy of local, regional, and high caliber performers. The festival is successful due in large part to the involvement of community volunteers. We are looking for volunteers for this year!

Are you a kid at heart? Nurture children’s creativity by helping them with a variety of fun activities, including chalk drawing,
bubble blowing, jazz related activities and more. Volunteers will also be responsible for ensuring the safety of the children. The
expanded family area will be run by Wharton’s Inner Circle of Friends. (1-2 volunteers per shift)

Valet Bicycle Parking Shift #1 (4:00pm to 7:30pm)

In partnership with the Mid- MEAC, SSJF offers free valet bike parking for guests. 3-4 volunteers for this position.
