About Summer Solstice Jazz Festival- Friday, June 20th
The 18th Annual Summer Solstice Jazz Festival (SSJF) is taking place on Friday, June 20th and Saturday, June 21st. This extraordinary FREE event features a high-caliber bevy of local, regional, and national jazz performers. The festival is successful due in large part to the involvement of community volunteers. We are looking for volunteers for this year! As a volunteer, you get a behind the scenes look at the festival. Volunteer perks include a 2014 festival t-shirt, snacks and drinks, a parking pass and special reserved seating under the tent. We ask that all volunteers work a minimum of two shifts during the weekend.

Do you like the immediate gratification of seeing an event come together? Help set up and tear down the festival site by hanging
signage, placing chairs and other general duties. Volunteers must be able to bend, lift and carry boxes and other equipment up
to 30 pounds. (5-6 volunteers per shift)

Valet Bicycle Parking Shift #1 (4:00pm to 7:30pm)

In partnership with the Mid- MEAC, SSJF offers free valet bike parking for guests. Volunteers will help with the parking of guest's bikes, 3-4 volunteers for this position.
