About Street Outreach Team

Welcome individuals on the street in front of CUB as they arrive for dinner or other weekly events. Develop trust relationships with the unsheltered homeless to assist with their needs and encourage hopeful futures. The outcome of building relationships is twofold: to posture for referral to agencies that provide social services when individuals express their willingness to receive help and ultimately to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them unto salvation. This volunteer opportunity encourages a 6 month commitment of one night per week to building the trust relationship.
