About Homebound Grocery Delivery Driver

The Homebound Grocery Delivery Program relies on volunteer drivers to deliver meals to seniors and people with mobility-related disabilities each week.

Each delivery route includes between 6 and 9 people. Volunteers will never be asked to drive outside of the Burlington or Winooski area unless they are interested in delivering to the more far reaching towns in Chittenden County. Delivery routes take about one hour and drivers must use their own vehicle.

Application Process

Volunteers must fill out an application, meet with the Homebound Grocery Delivery Coordinator, and pass a background check.

Family-Friendly

Parents and children are invited and encouraged to get involved.
