Mister Rogers Sweater Drive
Hosted by: Children's Museum of Pittsburgh
About Mister Rogers Sweater Drive
In the spirit of Fred Rogers' lessons of helping others, Children's Museum of Pittsburgh holds an annual Mister Rogers' Neighborhood Sweater Drive each winter. Since 2001, Children's Museum of Pittsburgh has collected more than 35,500 sweaters, distributing them to families in need throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania.
2017 community partners include the Presbyterian Churches of the Tri-State Area, Homeless Children’s Education Fund, Veteran’s Leadership Program of Western PA and Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh Ambassadors.
Donations of new or gently worn sweaters may be dropped off in the collection bin in the Children's Museum lobby from November 9 - December 15.
