About Month of the Military Child Celebration

April is the “Month of the Military Child” – a time to recognize and celebrate the 1.9 million military- connected children who proudly serve our country alongside their parent(s). Many military children and youth are deeply impacted by the unique aspect of living a military-connected life - including extended parental absence, multiple moves, loss of parent during service, or the life-changing, and long-lasting impact of war not only the returning veteran parent, but the entire family.
Orange County’s 6th Annual Month of the Military Child Celebration will take place on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Freedom Hall at Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley, from 10:00am to 2:00pm. This year's celebration is hosted by the Orange County Veterans & Military Families Collaborative in partnership with First District Supervisor, Andrew Do. Over 300 veteran & miltary-connected families from Orange County, and surrounding areas, are expected to attend this important event.
As lead organizer of this event we are looking for financial and product donations!
Orange County and surrounding areas' military families are encouraged to attend this free event. Please register to attend at eventrbite.com, or go directly to bit.ly/2uzDmYD
