Research by George Barna, in his book User-Friendly Churches, shows that ministering to young people is key to having a growing, healthy church. He states:
- Ministering to children opens doors for ministry to adults.
- Two out of every three Christians accepted Christ before the age of 18.
- Today's youth are tomorrow's leaders. Approximately 85% of today's missionaries were saved as children.
