About Tech Mentor

As a mentor, you'll be paired with one of the young women participating in our ChickTech high school program. Throughout the school year, you and your mentee will explore fun and exciting STEM activities sponsored by ChickTech or hosted by the Austin-area tech community. While your relationship focus will be on building a sense of belonging in tech, you are encouraged to hang out and have fun with your mentee in a broader sense!

There will be a mentorship orientation in December 2018, and the official mentorship program will kick off in January of 2019. As a mentor, you will be required to commit to 6 months of participation.
