What is the year-End Giving Campaign?

In this time of celebration and giving, this is your chance to support CHICAT's mission - elevating underserved student's talents, our culture and the entire community, as a whole, through providing high-quality STEAM programs in transformative art studios for our youth and sector-driven training, advanced technology certifications and job placement at a living wage for our adult students, including Health Information Technology, Advanced Maintenance Mechanics and Lab Tech & Quality Control.

Our Story

Chicago Center for Arts and Technology opened its doors in Spring, 2017 to offer life-affirming, after-school arts and technology education for students and innovative vocational training for adults, fueled by creativity and the passion to leverage community strengths, interests and wisdom.  

CHICAT aims to uplift the North Lawndale, Little Village and Pilsen neighborhoods, while embracing the culture and values of the individuals that reside there. This symbiosis enables CHICAT to be more than a place for accessing education and employment. Rather, CHICAT is a movement. It is a center for meaningful change in individuals and progress in our society.

At CHICAT, we not only provide all of our high-tech, quality programs for FREE, we also provide a home away from home, something different, a safe place to have a voice and to learn new things in a different way for all of our students.
