About Horse Leading

As a leader, you will assist clients in classes by leading their horses. Levels of assistance very from client to client. You may need to be in full control of the horse, or you may be "floating" next to the horse just in case they need your help.

Application Process

Visit our website at from here, you can read about our volunteer needs, fill out paperwork, and find out when the next orientation is.
* Volunteers must be at least 14 years old and be able to pass a criminal background check. Sidewalkers must also be physically fit enough to walk for at least 45 minutes and do some occasional jogging. No horse experience necessary.


Parents and children are invited and encouraged to get involved.
