About Associate Board Members

Changing Worlds seeks new Associate Board members to support the educational arts organization through various fundraising strategies. New members will have an interest in arts and cultural programming, attend monthly meetings, and work to advance the mission, philosophy, and objectives of Changing Worlds.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Attend meetings regularly and show commitment to all board activities
Assume leadership roles in all board activities, including fundraising
Be well informed on issues and agenda items in advance of meetings
Contribute skills, knowledge and experience when appropriate
Listen respectfully to other points of view
Participate in decision-making
Financially support the organization
Represent and advocate for the organization to the community
Learn about the needs of the students Changing Worlds serves

Requirements & Commitment

Changing Worlds’ Associate Board members meet the third Wednesday evening of every month at a location in Chicago’s downtown Loop area.
A minimum commitment of one year is required.
