About Frost Road Farm Day #1

We are transforming a farm and proving once-and-for-all that small, organic homesteads are sustainable. This is a 58 day project. (Please refer to the webiste: www.FrostRoadFarm.com) Day #1. Clear out the Big Woods creating a better habitat for all creatures great and small: clearing out the fallen branches, excess wood, etc. from the big woods. The branches and twigs will be pulled out and sorted into piles. Logs will be pulled out with harnesses connected to the tractor. The logs will be pulled, sawed into 5' sections and prepared for the mushroom farm installation. Meanwhile, in the front of the farm, we'll be clearing out and preparing for the mushroom farm. There will be plenty of riding around on tractors, and, of course, the macho-stump splitting contest!
