About Help Lead A Free 'Bone Builders' Exercise Class

Bone Builders is a nationally recognized senior exercise class. This free program involves light hand and ankle weights with high repetitions in a circuit type activity. We are looking for committed volunteers to start the class at the Rochester Public Library — Wellness Corner. Each class is one hour in length and will be offered two to four times per week.

An exercise program which prevents & reverses osteoporosis.

Bone Builders is an exercise program that incorporates: strength training, balance training, stretching, and fun …all into one hour!

Volunteer trainers lead participants through strength exercises, including:
-a warm up
-a cool down
-a balance routine
-a stretching routine
…all specifically designed to prevent or reverse bone loss!

Each session includes a brief discussion about topics pertaining to health, nutrition or exercise.
