About CASA - Court Appointed Special Advocate
Picture yourself as a CASA volunteer
YOU are the voice for a child in court
--Gather information about the child through talking to caseworkers, caregivers, lawyers, teachers, service providers and others.
--Report and make recommendations to the judge based on facts and observations.
YOU are a caring adult for an anxious child
--Share time with the child building trust and rapport, serving as a mentor and advocate.
--Monitor services to meet the child's physical, medical, educational, and emotional needs.
--Help bring stability in the life of a child when everything else can change in an instant.

The main office is in Pleasanton, Texas. CASA volunteers can serve in any/all counties.
